Born and raised in Manhattan, Alexandra began summering in the Hamptons with her family in 1984, when she also began a life long passion for horses. Several years later, her family purchased a home in Sagaponack, and Alexandra began spending every weekend, as well as all of her summers in the Hamptons, and began competing seriously in equestrian competitions throughout the Northeast.
Alexandra graduated from the Horace Mann School in 1997 and went on to attend Skidmore College. After graduating, she moved back to Manhattan and worked at New Line Cinema, but soon realized that her heart was in the Hamptons. Alexandra moved to the East End full time in 2004, first living in Sagaponack and then in Sag Harbor.
After working for a time at Dan's Papers, most notably as the writer of the "Clippity Clop" column, Alexandra found her way to Devlin McNiff. She recently purchased her first house in Sag Harbor, and shares it with her Great Dane, Annabelle, and her rabbit. Henry, her horse, lives down the road in Southampton.
Given her "dual citizenship" of New York City and the East End, Alexandra is in a unique position to understand both her customer base and the local culture of the Hamptons. Being a new homeowner, Alexandra is sensitive and understanding to the excitement and trepidation that comes with buying your first home. She welcomes the opportunity to guide first time homebuyers through the, at times, daunting process and to make sure that process is enjoyable and fun.
